Pocket Pad v2 enables a waiter to take table orders on the go throughout the restaurant.

The app also enables the ability to pay off tables on the device as well as performing Quick Sales.

Idealpos 9 Build 13 or above is required to use Pocket Pad v2!

The requirements for using Pocket Pad v2 are as follows:

Idealpos v9 Build 13 or newer installed on all POS Terminals and Back Office.
The device which the app is installed on will need to be connected to a Wi-Fi connection which is connected to the POS Terminals.
The Ideal Handheld Licence will need to be enabled on the host terminal.
Idealpos and POSServer will both need to be running when using Pocket Pad (POSServer does not need to be on the host terminal).
If Pocket Pad Payments functionality is required, the Pocket Pad Payments module will need to be enabled in the Licence Gateway and the Payment functionality will need to be configured.
The Pocket Pad Payments module only needs to be enabled on the Back Offices and/or POS Terminals which issue Handheld Licences to Pocket Pad devices.
If the Pocket Pad Payments module is disabled in the Licence Gateway and a Pocket Pad device obtains its Handheld Licence from that Terminal, the Payment Integration options in the Pocket Pad app will be hidden, preventing access to configuring or using Pocket Pad Payments functionality on that Pocket Pad device.
